About the Job:

The HR Generalist will support all aspects of Human Resources cycle at AIChE, in partnership with the HR Manager and HR Director. The successful candidate will be supportive, highly responsive, curious, creative, innovative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and offer great customer service to our internal partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with teams and recruiting partners to ensure an excellent candidate experience, including managing requisitions, scheduling interviews, and gathering feedback.
  • Coordinate key HR processes including new hire onboarding, benefits, performance review cycles and off boarding.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including new hire paperwork, system set up, new hire checklist and coordinating onboarding meetings and presentations.
  • Maintain and enhance current benefits programs including setup, administration and research of new and innovative companywide benefits, perks and recognition programs.
  • Verify payroll data during pay periods, manage payroll reporting and perform payroll audits.
  • Manage HR recordkeeping ensuring both compliance and process efficiency for all HR systems and files; this includes file management and data entry as needed
  • Assist new hires with setting up ADP profiles, and benefits inquiries.
  • Support the Culture Club with company-wide initiatives, including but not limited to holiday parties, office celebrations, team off-sites, wellness events, milestones, etc. Model and reinforce our cultural values by being creative, innovative, and efficient.
  • Build compliance into all that we do, including running audits and reports on People data to ensure accuracy across all People systems.
  • Additional HR Project responsibilities as assigned

About You:

  • You have at least 1+ years of experience as a member of Human Resources Team or Administrative function.
  • You have a Bachelorís in degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, I/O Psychology or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • You are self-aware, curious, and have a desire to learn.
  • You have a strong sense of judgment when handling confidential employee data and sensitive information.
  • You are personable, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
  • You are process-oriented and organized with excellent attention to detail and deadlines.
  • You have outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills and the ability to work across all levels and functions.
  • You are willing to roll up your sleeves and be part of a lean and nimble team.
